The South Mountain Makers are an interdisciplinary team of students and faculty at Lehigh University. We take on design challenges across campus and in the community, creating one of a kind pieces that are fabricated in Lehigh’s design labs.
Make it stand out.
In the Spring of 2017 we decided that our organization needed a proper logo. Initially my design stressed the south aspect of the name by simplified mountains with a detailed compass. However as the iterations progressed the emphasis shifted to the mountains and the strength behind them. The mountains represent Lehigh’s campus and speak to the challenges that need to be overcome in each new project.
