Nakashima Table

This coffee table was originally inspired by the work of George Nakashima. However I also wanted to work on my welding skills so I took his traditionally all wood design and reimagined it with a metal base.
Dimensioning in Solidworks
After creating my initial design I modeled it in Solidworks to make sure the overall dimensions would look good. The final leg design changed over time, but my model helped ensured that all angles would remain constant.
