My Work

I was the research assistant for Professor Hannah Dailey. We worked in cooperation with Lehigh’s Biology department to study concussions and possible cures. Our work specifically, was to design a small scale pneumatic impactor to analyze the acceleration and force felt during a collision. We used set of light gates to calculate and adjust the impact force and attached an accelerometer to the target to analyze it’s response. I the designed a GUI interface to operate the device and store our collected data.
